Win 1300 shotgun - tightness of screw on side of trigger group?

I don't know the term; but the screw on the side of the trigger group as seen with it removed - seems to hold down the long strip that holds the shell in the tube. . . .

I found it loose, then tightened it. . . then wondering if it SHOULD be loose, I loosened it again.


Tight or loose? If loose, how to adjust?

Battler, you should tighten it. It holds the shell stop/cut-off in place. If it gets loose the gun may not cycle properly. George
