Wilson Mags

I'm having a weird problem with one of the Wilson combat 8 round mags I got for my Colt Goldcup (80) a little while ago. About every other time it refuses to feed the last round. What happens is the follower engages the slide release on an empty magazine, the only problem is the last round does not get chambered. I just ratles around in there on top of an empty magazine. I have 2 8 round WC and one 10 round. All original Colt mags work fine so do the Wilson mags. Except that one 8 rounder.

Has anyone seen this before? Is there anything I can do with it short of sending it back.

Thanks for your replies.

There are a couple of weird things here.

1. Both mags are identical and were purchased at the same time. One works great and the other is having this problem.

2. They are both brand new.

Do you think that loading them with 7 rounds might hel?

Thanks a lot. I called Willson and spoke to John. I explained the problem I was having and before I could say anything else John offered to send me out a new spring and a follower for my bad mag. Free of charge. He said, if that doesn't help, they will be happy to replace the mag. Again, free of charge. He was also very nice and curtious the whole time.

Now, that's what I call customer service. Some of our other well know manufacturers could learn a thing or two from Wilson.
