Wilson Combat Post-Ban AR muzzle brake?

Hi,

Has anybody here had a Wilson Post-Ban AR brake installed.
I'm thinking about getting installed and wanted some opionions?

I had one put on my Bushmaster carbine about 8 months ago . I like it for the looks and muzzle protection but it is louder with it installed . Good luck , Mike...
 
Is the only difference between the Wilson brake and the standard flash hider the size of the opening in the front?
 
skip putting the stupid thing on, all it does is make the rifle painful to shoot and you shouldn't need a brake on a .223 anyway.
 
If you have your post-ban barrel threaded and the Wilson welded on, and you keep your rifle long enough, you'll be sorry that you had your post-ban barrel threaded and the Wilson welded on.
 
Interesting! Why would you say that, Walter? Is it because he wouldn't want the Wilson break for very long? Or is it because of having something welded to the front of the barrel that won't come off in the event that you need to take the rifle apart for some reason?

Boy I hope that President Bush sunsets that stupid law!!!!!!!
