I had a Williams Firesight put on the front of one of my beater rifles. The insert is very small and it`s not as bright as I`d hoped but it`s alright. It`s small dia. is nice for precise shooting though. If you want a really bright sight you might try HiViz. I haven`t used them but their inserts are much larger and they seem mighty bright in the store. Marcus
