Will this need to be regulated?

Interesting...Watched the video, so let me explain the quick dirty of it for those who may not catch the video.

Its basically an arrow tip for a bow, which threads on. The arrow head is basically a single-shot firearm (lack of a better definition) which is reloadable with either a 38 special or 357 mag cartridge. When the arrow head contacts a target, the energy in the arrow shaft causes the round to fire.

Things the video did not mention:

1. Is the device rifled, or smooth bore

2. No legal information on possession and purchase.

3. No talk about BATF approval.

Basically, from what I can see from the video, its like a zip gun, except for the energy in the arrow shaft is what fires the round.

With the above said, I plan on staying away from it, but will be watching to see how the BATF boys react to it.

One issue I see from the start is about hunting regs....Will this fit in to bow or gun season?

Question is though... Is it a firearm, or "other weapon" etc line of thought, or is it none of those things, and legal without any paperwork. I'm going to think on it and research a bit.

It looks like an above water version of the old SCUBA divers "Power Head" or "Bang Stick". If it can be thought of that way it's already regulated, it just needs the clarification inserting.

its a bang stick for your bow. no biggy there..... already regulated when you get down to it.

only problem is that most states have already banned bullets during archery season. it wouldnt be legal during any muzzleloading season ive heard of.

but would be funner then crap to use for pest control.
