Will these rings work on a NEF Handi Rifle?

So I bought the wrong rings for another gun, already opened them. Was looking at getting a NEF Handi Rifle in .223 and an extra .30-30 barrel. Here are the rings: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/678112/weaver-1-grand-slam-top-mount-rings-gloss-medium

Edit: Scratch my previous comments.

I think those rings are too short. The hammer spur will likely contact the eyepiece of the scope.


You may be able to find some one else using those rings on the greybeard Handi-Rifle forums, or the NEF/H&R forum at marlinowners, if you want a better answer.

I had some low rings for my Handi Rifle, using an older Bushnell 3-9. I ground the hammer spur and the very end of the hammer and it barely clears now. The rifle was used and I had the scope and mounts and didn't care about what it looks like (a grandkids "expendible" rifle).
