For an item with such a high demand and such a great shortage, it may not come back as before. Instead, you may find in the future that there are a lot of brand new ammunition companies that will fill the needs of consumers.

The product and its components are not particularly rare or unique in terms of raw materials. They are not banned or now illegal. At the current time, anyone that can manufacture these items has a market and will make money, but that what many who might do this are waiting for is to see if the start-up costs will be covered by the demand before the shortage is over.

yes, I think it will be available like before. I expect to see slightly higher prices, maybe an extra dollar or two per box, but yes. The market has to reach saturation at some point, at some point people will start to feel they have enough and slow down or stop buying, but that number is different for everybody. I expect, or rather hope that people have learned their lessons and will build and maintain a small stockpile, perhaps a years worth at their regular shooting pace, and resume buying at a normal rate and rotating so that if there is another shortage they will be able to keep shooting like normal. The last shortage when Obama was elected lasted a bit over 6 months if I remember Correctly, I anticipate this one going 8-10 months, but it is any ones guess, and I shant be caught with my pants down again. i figure a reasonable box to 2 boxes per caliber per payday should be reasonable but not wipe the shelves out.

I believe that after all the band wagon people decide that Government oppression/doomsday is over and we are going back to normal life then the market will start to stock up. I don't that the prices will go up either, as of right now I can still go get a Winchester 100 value pack of .40 S&W for about $22. And it has been that way the whole time.

The only problem is my local Wal-Mart stocks its ammo at about 5-6 AM and I have to be at work at 5:30, so I don't get a chance to get there before the people just looking to make a quick buck do.

I feel by summer we should be finding ammo on shelves a lot easier.
