will it fit? cz455 barrel

I have a cz455 lux in .22wmr, two days ago i saw a cz455 american barrel in 17hmr at the local gun shop. now the guy at the gun shop says it will fit perfectly on my rifle but hes known to tell people what they want to hear so i dont trust him 100%

So will a cz455 american 17hmr barrel fit on my cz455 lux?

Have it installed by someone who knows what they are doing.

Check headspace.

CZ455 barrels are meant to be user interchangeable, they even sell package deals:

My question is whether the American barrel is the same outside diameter and taper as the Lux so as to fit the Lux stock.

I have a CZ455 American in 17 HMR. Have shot thousands of rounds through it. You won't be disappointed. Very accurate, especially for a light-barreled gun.

pretty much the same, the lux barrel had iron sights on it thats all the difference i can see...

Have you shot any rounds through it yet and looked at the cases? I would think everything will be fine, but can you assume that headspace is correct just because the barrel fits on the gun?
