Will Glock magazines work in an FMK 9c1 gen2?

I've been looking into the FMK 91c Gen2 9mm and can't help but notice that it appears to be a clone of the Glock 19. I am curious to know how far the similarities go, specifically the magazines.

The reason for my interest is that FMK sells a "Freedom Fighter Package" that includes the 9c1, a Just Right Carbine 9mm rifle, and 3 FMK magazines. However, currently the JRC website says they only make carbines for M&P and Glock/Glock-compatible magazines.

This would imply that FMK magazines are "Glock-compatible", so I'm wanting to know if the reverse is true. Are the Glock 9mm mags compatible with the FMK 9c1 Gen2? Has anyone actually used a Glock magazine successfully and safely in this gun?

for my FMK 9C1 gen 2, ive been wondering this myself. i haven't verified this on a factory glock mag yet, BUT i did have an extended (likely aftermarket) metal glock mag.... at least what im ASSUMING was a glock mag

i measured, and cut out a spot for the magazine release and according to the single azoom i put though it... IT WORKS

i will be buying a glock mag this weekend to try

the glock mag doesn't have a cut out on the forward side aprox an inch down on the right side (picture shown from the left side, because i have cut the right side... illustration purposes)

i marked the area about as low tech as possible, i just wrapped tape around the mags to like up the cut on the FMK mag, and transposed it to the glock mag

cut the area out with a dremel, (dont flip me crap, i dont own any glocks, i dont even know where this mag came from so i was not concerned about making pretty cuts more about proof of concept)

here they are side by side

and it seems to work, ill have to test it on the range obviously

again this is a NON factory glock mag, as i dont have any glock mags to destroy yet. treat this as proof of concept. if you try this on your own i am not responsible for the outcome. but it wont really damage a mag beyond use so TRY IT!!!

ill add that it does NOT lock the slide back. i dont know if thats because of my ham fisted cutting, or what (likely magazine follower differences) but more to come on this when i get some actual glock mags

now im REALLY confused, i just looked up glock mags and they seem to have cut outs already!?

i have no clue what this mag was originally then. but ive secured a few glock mags for this weekend so ill be able to really figure it out over the weekend

color me very confused :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:
