Will a savage 340(30-30) barrel fit a Stevens 325B

I have a Stevens 30-30, model 325B. The inside of the barrel is pitting in some areas. Just wanted to know if the barrel on either model mentioned above can be swapped out with each other. I know the savage 340 are much alike and I think the model 840 also. Are most of the parts on the guns mentioned transferable with each other. I can get a Savage 340 barrel for $49.00. they say its in excellent shape with no pitting and good bluing.
