Will a metal gun safe act as a Faraday Cage?

It makes sense that a metal gun safe would also act as a Faraday cage , as long as you kept any electronic devices away from touching any metal sides.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Depends on the strength of Faraday cage you want. But in general, it will attenuate signals but not everything on every frequency.
If you need a Faraday cage / SCIF, you need to buy a Faraday cage or build a SCIF.
It also depends on who the adversary is.

A microwave is a good faraday cage. Almost every home has one.

Not unless you ground it.

Any metal box will attenuate electromagnetic signals,,,
But to truly block them you need to re-direct them to ground.

Might I ask why this is of a concern?

Just curious is all.

Who is the adversary you want to protect against?
A key feature of a high quality Faraday cage is sealing the movable parts / door.

It’s much harder than most think.

Here's a picture of a SCIF, if you analyze the door well enough you'll realize it's a pretty complicated structure...
