Will a 1/2" in bbl lenght make a difference?

The reason I ask is I've shot a Kimber Pro-Carry (that thing was sweet) and I'm looking at the Llama MiniMax Sub-compact. I didn't have a problem with the 3 1/2" bbl but will a 3" be much different as far as recoil? I'm not worried about the fps and all that stuff. I want some that I can enjoy to carry, shoot, can afford and something that is brand new.

Someone bought a Llama/Firestorm a month ago from our store and shoots everyweekend and hasn't had a problem (I had to put that out there cause they get a bad rap on this board).
:(

One other thing, do they still make this in 9mm? Thanks

Depends on the gun. If it's heavier you might even feel less recoil...
But generally a shorter barrel does feel a little more snappy. At least to me.

The ½" difference in barrel length will have far far less effect on perceived recoil than many other factors. Grip shape, angle etc. Overall weight. Barrel axis to hand relationship. Etc etc.
