Will 20 rd mags work in a 10 rd Ruger 57?

Just bought a Ruger 57 that came with the compliant 10 rd magazines (only one I could find even though I’m not in a compliant state). These will still work with the 20 rd magazines correct?

Of course they will.
The pistol has no idea how many rounds are in the magazine.

To add to that- I don't know how that 57 is built, but a some of the compliant clips have simple plastic tongue depressor looking things glued in, or long protrusions on the followers for round restriction. Since you live in a free state, see if you can un-limit them clips.

Unfortunately this isn’t like that. Half of the magazine is polymer.
