One set of calibration instruction had some bad data so still working on that.

No real idea of value as it ranges from $250 to the very nice condition 1295.

This was a get rid of it garage sale and only after I got it home and took the cover off the eye piece did I see a tag for $675 on it.

I got a full print out of the manual and will see about getting it set right. Still missing the explanatory picture and have query out.

I have one of these as well, never used it. Bought it on a whim, will have to decide if I want to move it back to AZ where I can probably use it, or sell.

Let me know, I can send you the Manual I have on it if you want.

No setup pictures but the Test is there.

I played with it for about 4 hours. Just need the final calibration setup that was wrong for the distance to use in the first text details I found.

Next time on the 200 or 300 meter range I will take it with me just to make people scratch their heads. Its got very good shorter range accuracy.

Well I am going to have my sidecar Ural as well to get back and forth to the targets and that will have them pondering things as well.

Serious prarie dog shooters used the similar military surplus Barr & Stroud range finders back in the '80s, before laser range finders came out. They were hard to find and expensive then. I expect they would work as well as ever, but would be bulky, slow and awkward compared to modern rangefinders. I never used one, couldn't afford them, and laser types were too new on the market. I decided to wait until the accuracy of the laser units improved and the price came down, then never got around to buying one. Haven't been dog shooting since 2000.
