She dreamed that we were inside the house, near the rear sliding door. A man armed with a shotgun appeared ("wild-eyed") and shot me through the door. Wife ran upstairs, grabbed the kid (age 13) and headed for the master bedroom. (The door to this room is a solid-core steel one, with deadbolt).
Kid grabbed the Mossberg (Persuader), which is always loaded in the corner of the room. Wife grabbed her Gold Cup +2 extra mags (always loaded in the room), and the Mini-14. She inserted a 40-rd mag into the mini, and chambered rounds in both weapons, as kid racked the slide on the shotgun. (We have close to 10,000 rds of asstd ammo in the bedroom, in ammo cans.)
Goblin was heard climbing the stairs, where he began working to beat down the BR door. Upon his successful entrance into the room, he became well ventilated, as wife emptied the entire 40-rd mag into him, followed by all three mags from the .45. Kid got off a couple of shotgun blasts as well. The extra time before his entrance allowed them to insert earplugs prior to opening fire.
BG ended up pretty much as hamburger on the floor of the bedroom. Dunno what happened to ME, as wife woke up after BG hit the deck.
40 rds of .223, followed by 21 rds of .45ACP, and 3 rds of 00 buck will pretty much ruin a guy's whole day. (Could almost qualify as a Diallo-style shoot!)
I thought this might be an amusing dream to share with you all. It was her first-ever "home defense" dream.

BTW, I start a new contract on Thursday (first work in 5 months!) and will be sponsoring some members to NRA/GOAA/JPFO/etc... as soon as the cash starts coming in.
