Wife bought me a gun safe, now I'm worried!

My wife called me this morning and told me that I needed to go to cabela's

after work. That has never happened before, and honestly, it scared me!

I asked why, and she said " to pick up your new gun safe". She had seen

me looking at one a while back, and had been watching the flyers. They

had it on sale 200 bucks off. She said that she was the first one in the

parking lot, and had to beat 4 guys in a foot race to get it. Turns out

they had five, but either way its mine. Honestly knowing her, those four

guys didn't stand a chance. Got her in the house, next thing will be bolting

it down. Now I'm just trying to figure out why she did it. I'm kinda scared,

but I know if she was planning on smothering me with a pillow, she wouldn't

need a safe for the guns, she'd probably sell em. Might be a reward for the

vasectomy I had last week. Who knows? flyboy
 
the reward for the vasectomy is supposed to start immediately after healing ;)

Unless she bought one big enough to hide/bury a body inside of I would not worry too much. Women do weird things sometimes. It is best to not try and figure it out. :)
 
The rewards seem to be twofold, yes I have the key, and yeah she probably

could fit me in there, and bury me. Now I am really scared! If she is pregnant

I'm taking the safe, the guns, and flying to Canada. flyboy:confused:
 
be sure to use protection till the doctor tells you your clear.

worked with a guy that has three kids now.

and so what now you can fill it with all sorts of guns.








oh and your wife said to tell you shes pregnant.

The doctor did say " This doesn't mean your wife can't get pregnant, it just

means you can't get her prengant". At least the guy had a sense of humor

about it. Don't worry I'll be careful, go in to get tested, to ensure I'm not

still packing live ammo next week. flyboy

For no apparent reason? Be afraid, be very afraid.
This will cost you some big bucks down the road.......... Women usually don't do things like that without a reason. Just kidding! Congrats.
 
Don't forget....

you never get something for nothing. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.....
When you figure out what your payment is, please post it. It may help one of us some day.

Congrats on the new safe! Your wife is just saying thanks :D

As for the live ammo, definitely be certain to get your mag empty. I've read it can take quite a number of range sessions.
 
That's an awesome gesture from your wife, congrats!! A gun safe is a VERY wise purchase :)

My wife was totally cool with me spending $2K+ on a safe but I guarantee she would not have gone to the store to buy it for me and surprise me with it!
 
Working on emptying the mag. Only problem is now that I have all of the guns

in the safe, she counted them. And now wants to record all serial numbers.

Ive got em all, but I'm even more scared now. She bought me a 30 gun safe.

I would like someone to show me how to get 30 guns in there, managed to fit

20 of em in there. I guess I could have bigger problems. Having too many

guns, and a wife who buys me a safe, are good things, right?:confused:flyboy
 
Nice picture. Don't they sell flash bulbs in South Dakota?:D My safe is suposed to hold 14 guns but I crammed 24 in there, mostly handguns in rugs though. Anybody got any rugs for sale?
