Why no souped up .22 mag ammo?

They've souped .22 LR as far as it can go, both with 60 grain subsonics and 30 grain hypersonics. If they did the same with .22 mag ammo we would have serious varmint and even defensive/assault ammo (that would be light to carry several hundred rounds of.)

Has anyone tried pulling the bullets and reloading their own special blend of ammo and bullet - like a heavy Sierra Boat tail?

There have been several "mild" attempts such as the 33gr. vmax from remington or the 30 gr sierra from federal. Other than it would probably require a faster than standard twist barrel, I would also like to see something like a 22mag with a 69gr sierra match bullet.

Winchester, Federal and Remmington all make 30-34 gr. .22 Mag with appropriately higher velocities. Federal makes a 50 gr round.

The Winchester ammunition was incrediable out of my rifle. The Federal was not so great in a terms of accuracy but reliable. The Remmington stuff sucks. Out of a box of 50, 12 failed to fire on one hammer blow. They did on the second. One required 3 blows.

For wind resistance and long range effectiveness I like the 50 grain Federal enough that I bought a case of it. But I share the wish for target ammo with at least the same bullet as in the Federal American Eagle 55 grain FMJ boat tail.

Question: Out of the present selection of .22 mag rifles, which is the most robust to take loads that are as hot compared to regular 22mag as the .22 LR Stinger or Aguila Super Max Hyper Vel. is to regular .22LR. Maybe something like the 69 grain Sierra BTHP at 1800 fps. Reckon I'd have to pull bullets and reload to those specs.
