Why is my Dry Box ....

I opened up one of my Dry Boxes today, and noticed that the desiccant inside is soaking wet. The Dry Box should be keeping the moisture out, but for some reason it isn't. What's going on? Should my desiccant be wet inside my dry box?

Check your desicant as to what kind it is. The silcon type should not be wet. If it's calicum chloride then your in trouble as it is a rust promoter and is very corrosive. What ever you have in the dry box clean very well to make sure there is nothing left of the desicant on your stuff.

It IS the calcium chloride type, but it doesn't sit on the the ammo boxes. It sits on a plastic tray above the ammo.
