I think that he meant to say that the hammer was on the top, especially since the triggers of that gun are located on the under side of the stock.
 
I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt and think that it was just a slip of the tongue. However, in his shoes, I would have pulled the video from YouTube by now. :confused:
 
There are 2 triggers according to this guy! One on top and one on the bottom! All this time I thought the bent thingy on top was a hammer!
 
While some folks might tell someone to "cock the cock", most folks would probably say to "cock the hammer".
To say "cock the cock" sort of sounds like double talk (or mumbo jumbo). :)
