So I've got some room on the credit card. I decide I need another gun. A new one.

Im like man that new Kel tec pmr 30 is sweet. Out of stock. OK whatever

Well, I've got a Taurus tracker 357 in stainless. I'll get one just like it in 22mag the perfect little bro gun. Out of stock.

OK. I've got three 357 wheel guns. I'll get me one of those Rossi 357/38 lever action carbines. Out of stock.

Its like my wants are fine tuned to the gun industry but the clock is off! Haha.

I've found a few of the guns I want on gunsamerica but I'm not paying over msrp. I'll just enjoy what I've got.

Just like the cute and popular girl in high school, she is never available for a date.

Now if you're willing to settle, there are many options out there though.

So many reasons given for the run on guns, political elections, potential civil disturbances, potential collapse of every kind... Its alot of gloom and doom and as I understand it most the lesser priced guns are selling as fast as they can be made... I dont know if it applies to all brands but I do know some will no longer take orders....

Some dealers will go out of their way to locate the models that you want and others won't.
While the model may be out of stock at the primary distributor that a gun shop deals with, they may be available elsewhere. You never know.
Some dealers will hunt around the country to see if they can locate one for you, while other gun shops will only deal with certain distributors.
Some distributor could have one sitting on a shelf and your dealer simply doesn't know about it.
Believe it or not, some dealers on GunsAmerica will haggle if they really want to sell a gun. It wouldn't hurt to contact one of them and make an offer. It would probably be preferable to speak directly with someone on the phone.
Or hunt around the auction sites and try to find one of those models used or a close alternative.

The guns I want are out of production, some of them for generations! That's tough.

^^^^^This!!!^^^^^

And I know what the OP means. It took me a long time to find my H&K. You just gotta hold out and keep looking... Also holding yourself back from buying something else is another obstacle.
