Why hasn't there been a lawsuit?

By someone from D>C> or Chicago over the 2nd amendment. Aren't guns illegal in both of these town? Or is it just handguns?
 
Money and incentive. I would think those with enough money to persue a suit have security and most of those who desperately need security do not have the funds to sue.

In addition to what C.R. said, which is true and sad, probably those that genuinely care about their rights simply move. Chicago has several areas in the metropolitan area and DC.....well....who would want to live around all those crooks, also known as politicians.

Gunslinger hit the nail on the head IMHO. I speak from personal experience. I was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs. There were unthinkable crimes happening daily. So shortly after turning 23, I packed everything I owned in a big orange truck, put my car on a trailer, and landed my happy butt in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. :D
