don't bring a knife to a gun fight

however I have several useful knives for hunting .. a swiss army knife.. a handy wymoming knife with spare blade for gutting and skinning.. a tiny hacksaw for cutting bone.. and a cold steel tanto I bought in the mid eighties that you cut an elk in half with rather quickly. (been there done that) or ram through a car door. VERY serious knife.

Other favorites: a used ak-74 bayonet with a sawback and wire cutter sheath.. not the best grade steel but a good utility knife.
