Who's got good cheap 9mm ammo?

I second the recommendation for natchez shooters supply. Every once in a while they'll have a sale on certain ammo makers / calibers. S&B is great ammo for the range and has decent brass: S&B .45 $8.20 a box, and if you don't care about saving the brass CCI Blazer .45 is $7.30 a box there. Order several thousand rounds and enjoy the look the UPS guy gives you when he carries it all to your door step :)
 
Wal-Mart here has Winchester White Box for $5.96/50. I think most Wal-Marts with have this.

If you add in the shipping costs on most Internet ammo, you're getting pretty close.

I do like S&B, though.
 
Wal-Mart Deal

Wal-Mart here is selling the Winchester White box of 100 for $10.96. Add in the tax and it runs $11.51. Good for range shooting!

Earlier this week Natchez Shooters Supply was selling CCI Blazer for 9mm at $4.80, and .40 and .45 at proportionately low prices.

They've generally got S&B 9mm for under $5.

Good people to do business with, too. I ordered a half-case of 9mm and half-case of .40 on Friday, and it was delivered on Wednesday, and Monday was a holiday. (I live in NC, and they're in Tenn.)
 
The local sporting goods superstore here runs UMC 115gr FMJ for $6.48 for a box of 50 every few weeks. When I figure in shipping that balances out to about the same as mail order.

I always buy enough to last until the next sale.
 
My local Wal Mart has UMC and Win White Box 115 9mm for 5.89 a box. For that cheap it isn't worth the hassle to reload or order out and pay shipping.
 
Gallyans Sporting Goods had Winchester White Box for $5.99 a box the other week, best price I've seen in DC Metro.

Remember to factor in shipping in the prices for mail order. It can make a seemingly competitive deal very uncompetitive.
 
Example: Incursion's suggestion of Century Arms $110 for 1,000 rounds of PMP (delivered), translates to a price of $5.50 per box of 50. If you prefer PMP ammo, that's great. I prefer the immediate gratification of picking up WW at Wal-Mart.

For premium self defense ammo, though, I think you can still get better deals on the 'net.
 
I've been looking in the Indy area Wal-Marts and haven't found any of the Winchesters selling near that price. Wonder what the deal is ?

How is the PMP pistol ammo ? I use that in .223 and really like it, but seldom see the pistol rounds.
 
WalMarts seem to be inconsistent in their pricing. The other day I noticed a $15 item at the store here in Oshkosh was priced over $19 in the Appleton store 20 miles away. Same skew number and I would assume the same supplier. Go figure.

Is is just me or is there more retailers that are out of stock of the bulk 9mm? j&g, cole, classic arms, etc. .223 is the same way as far as i can see. Is this b/c of sept. 11?
 
Today I paid $10.96 per 100 round box of 9 MM fmj made by UMC at Wal-Mart. So take your pick of Winchester or UMC at Wal-Mart at about $5.50 per 50 rounds.
