1. How do you like it??

2. Was it worth the $ ??

3. Do you grip, shoot etc this pistol
any different that your other pistols??

I love mine, and it was worth the money.
My hands are very large so I don't have to
take an off-center grip like my wife does..
It is the most accurate pistol I own....
My petite wife also shoots this the best out
of all the pistols we own...
Any thoughts????

Dakodakid,

Originally I had no interest in the Mk23 because it was too big for CCW and
because it was 45 ACP. Then I realized suppressors were legal and it became a
must have. It is a unique arm in that it is an offensive handgun. Not only is it the
only arm in this category it is the most tested military handgun, most accurate,
used by the SEALs and has a lifetime warranty. Buy it to shoot or buy it to
collect.

The money was not an issue to me. If it is like other HKs, it will be worth more in
the future.

As for shooting, I have a problem with the Mk23. I have the required big hands
but my wrists are not SEAL category. The high barrel produces a lot of muzzle
flip. After a few rounds of muzzle flip my wrists become shaky and accuracy
goes to hell. However, with the one pound can in place my groups shrink by 50%
whether steady or shaky.

Have been testing the Mk23 at night with and without the can to check for
muzzle flash. IMI ammo is good. Am seeking a handload with IMI or lower flash.

Plan to buy a LAM in the future.

It's next on my list! Man I like my Tactical! It's such a great gun w/or w/out the supressor. It sounds like a great gun! I expect my large hands can handle the gun's grip.

I have several rifles I am considering getting.
However, I am 100% certain, my next pistol will be an HK MK23.
I look forward to find just the right one. A legally obtained and matched "Can" with it.

Some say this pistol is TOO BIG. This is certainly true for many people. I do not find it too big at all.
