Latest project: .22LR 1918 BAR using Marlin 795

here's 3 hours of work so far just trying to figure out what needs to be fabricated and what needs cutting

there's a Marlin 795 "pre fitted" in right now.

- more cutting to move the 795 ejection port forward.
- buy a metal barrel shroud to go over the 795 barrel to fit the heavy bipod and front sight.
- redesign the extension trigger.
- drill a hole for an extension screw through the action
- drill a hole for the safety
- JB weld Marlin 795 magazine to the BAR magazine

Defcon - When I first read about your work I thought it was silly but then I saw pictures of your work and I am in awe.

With your talent you could without a doubt be doing tons of other stuff (probably a lot more profitable than this stuff) but I'm kind of glad you have chosen to do this.

Good luck!

The last link is probably the best because it has so many examples of his work.

The pictures in some threads are no longer available but the above work (as of today) and are really something.

Nice! But . . . can't you make it shoot 7.62x39 with AK mags? That was my favorite eye-roller when people were discussing the merits of the rimfire GSG StG44.
