Who makes a shotgun rifle combo similar to savage 24v?

Who made a shotgun rifle combo similar to savage 24v?

What other mfg make this type of combo other than savage.

Back in the 1980 time frame I had a 24v in 222 over 20ga .A shooter at the range had a 222 rem mag over a 12 or 20 ga .But the shotgun was on top .Wonder who made it.
 
I just wish someone would build a different combo. Savage always did the same old thing. Rifle over a shotgun. I wish someone would build a 22 rifle over a 308. That would be an excellent wilderness survival rifle. The 22 to supply daily food, and the 308 as a long range big game number. I saw a convereted 22 over 30-30 on Gunbroker a few years back. It had MANY bids and went very high. Evidence there is a need and desire for such a thing.

Please note a drilling is a three barrel gun, usually a SXS shotgun with a rifle barrel under.

A two barrel gun (stacked barrels) is still a over/under.

Now, these won't be cheaply priced like the Savage, but you can get it in whatever you want
 
A 22 rifle is the ultimate wilderness survival caliber. I have studied actual survival situations and the guns of northern woods wanderers for many years. The 22 rifle is the gun of choice. One such isolated soul went north with 3 guns. A 300 win mag, a 12 guage shotgun and a 22 rifle. In his nearly 2 years of living off the land, he never uncased the 300 or 12 guage. So for me a 22 lr is the most vital caliber of the two. These are nice rifles PetahW, but out of most peoples price range im afeared.
