Who likes their Ruger Charger?

I can't explain why, but for some reason I've had the itch for one of these things. I realize that a Mark series pistol or 10/22 are both more practical, but these things just look so cool!

For just a range toy or plinker what do y'all think? Is that all it is, or have you found a practical use for it?

It's a hoot, to shoot

For the same reasons you have mentioned, I bought a Charger when they first came out. Set it up with a rifle scope and had a ball shooting it at the range. Thought I'd take it hunting but somehow, that never worked out.

Understand that I am "Still" a Ruger fan and in time, preferred using my other Rugers and shot the Charger, less and less. Finally sold it and even though it was a fun-gun to shoot, I really don't miss it. .... ;)

Be Safe !!!

My grandkids love it....small enough youngsters can handle it with the assistance of a bipod. Getting a lot of pressure to buy a couple more take down models.

I built a 10/22 "pocket rifle" with a side folding stock before the Charger ever existed. My thought at the time was that it balanced out horribly if you wanted to shoot it offhand as a pistol (much better with the stock extended). It would be just fine for shooting off a bench, though. That seems to be how most people seem to like shooting their Chargers anyway.

I do :)

I have 3 of the originals with plans to pick up atleast 2 more of the new take down versions next year.

I have "dressed up" some of them a little.
