Who likes shooting .32 ACP?

Well, I've had my Beretta Tomcat to the range a couple times now, and, well, it kicks pretty good. Actually a little more effort to shoot than my full sized 9mm TriStar. I do consider it in the "fun to shoot" category. So much so, that I couldn't resist getting a surplus FEG in .32 from AIM Surplus! Wasn't going to buy another gun till Christmas time, just couldn't pass it up. Pics when it arrives.:)

Me.
PP 7.65
BER 6" 7.65 target pistol complete with fully adjustable sights. Will shoot 7.65MM 71gr ball well UNDER an inch at 25 yards dead on the sights

Colt 1903, low recoil and accurate despite the small sights. I'd like to shoot a PPK in .32 one day. (and a 1903/1908 in .380 for that matter)

I like .32, but I'm not so crazy about the gun I have for it, a CZ-70. Heavy as hell trigger pull.

I love shooting my .32 revolvers, both .32 Long (3 of them) and .32-20 (2 of them).

I was lucky enough to stumble on a Smith & Wesson .32 auto last month at a killer price and that is one sweet shooting .32. I also enjoy shooting the Spanish Ruby types as they are usually so heavy, the recoil is virtually nil.

Another favorite of mine is the Browning 1955 .32 ACP version. There were generally only sold in Canada, but some "wandered" across the border.

Years ago I had the opportunity to buy a Dreyse carbine in .32 ACP, and had a chance to test fire it; About like shooting a .22 LOL! I passed on it as the price, at the time. was a bit high for comfort.

Had a Walther PP that was fun and accurate, but finding the brass without some form of shower curtain or similar to contain the brass was a royal PITA

Two pistols in .32 that I enjoy are the CZ83 and Sig P230. These were easy and fun although the CZ would experience rimlock with certain ammo. I also had a Walther PP that was a nice shooter, but the tiny sights were harder to have fun with. My Seecamp isn't what most people would call enjoyable, just uber functional. That's good too.

I have a Mauser M1914 and a wartime CZ-27. Despite poor ergonomics both shoot very well, and the CZ feeds anything I put in it-I got a very nice 50' group with W-W Silvertips.

I have a Beretta Tomcat Inox which is handy and fun to shoot. It is a hard round to reload, but I do it anyway.

I TIG welded up the feed ramp and welded a muzzle extension on a Kel-Tec P32 32acp to see how much power I could get.

With hot handloads I increased the penetration from 1" in Douglas Fir with factory ammo to 5" with handloads.... but the recoil was intolerable for me and for the pistol's ejector.

Nice collection of .32s!

I have several pistols in .32 ACP and several revolvers in .32 S&W, .32 S&W Long, and one in .32 Long Colt. They are all fun to shoot, or rather were, since .32 ammo is about impossible to get and my reloading time is limited. Still, great little cartridge, and not the popgun some people think it is. With anything like good bullet placement, it will do fine as a defense round. After all, the .32 ACP/7.65 Browning was used as a police cartridge in much of Europe for many years, and before the .38 Special, the .32 S&W Long and .32 Long Colt were both used as police cartridges in the U.S.

Ive got a Kel-Tec P32 that is my EDC. I really enjoy shooting it. I like pocket pistols, and started with an LCP. Hated that pistol, but wanted something similar in size. I bought the KT and its been great. I had a chance to buy a Bersa Thunder in .32, but passed. Ive been kicking myself ever since. The P32 is a joy to shoot. Very little recoil, and very accurate at SD distance.

I have owned a great many .32 pistols over the years. By far, the most reliable and accurate is my 1903 Colt. It is simply a pleasure to shoot and will feed any brand of ammo and all of my hand loads without any problem.

I like the .32acp for a myriad of reasons. I have two LWS32s that maximize this caliber in such a compact gun, but I would like a larger gun like a sig p232. id trade my sig p230 SL .380acp in a minute for a sig p230/232 or walther in .32acp.
