Who is writer "R.K. Campbell"

While surfing various threads on the net, I've come across mention and articles written by "R.K. Campbell". Can someone advise what is this writers pedigree? Seems as if he has been in a number of shootings, and wounded in line of duty with LE etc.

Who is this fella, and when and where was he with LE? Some of his material is dated within the past 4-5 years.

Copy that, but he seems LE or LE retired. Trying to find out what agency and when. Seen some stuff it would appear.
