Who has M1A Scout and how does it shoot?

Would love to hear some range reports on the M1A Scout.
Do you have optics mounted and how do you like it?
How does the muzzle break compare with the flash suppressor on the standard M1A?
I'd like to get some info before I lay out that much ca$h for a rifle.

I picked up one used at a show recently. I really like it. The flash hider had to go. Got a Smith Enterprises muzzle brake. Like it much better. With my reloads that I use for HighPower, I get 3" at 200yd. I put a LER Leupold on it for testing. I may just go back to the irons. That style scope just ain't my cup of tea.
All in all, a good gun. I'm satisfied with mine.
 
I knew a guy who had one and it literally grouped at a foot at 100 meters. He spent a bundle trying to fix it, then wound up trading it off.

Of course, YMMV.
 
i shoot the m14 off the irons also at 100 yards and 200 yards. getting ready to start shooting at a 1000 yards at the 4x8 sheets of metal iron. love the open sights, but the eyes are getting bad and i mean real bad. i love this weapon you can't tear it up, shoot and shoot. just wish i could see better.
