Who has Federal 327 ammo?

Ammunitiontogo and luckygunner both show they have it.
Very pricey hollow points only, though.
This caliber looks like a definite candidate for reloading.

I just buy the 50-round boxes of federal 100 gr SP. Usually in the $25 range. The local gun stores have it but I don't know about on line. I am pretty well fixed for brass now so I have not been looking lately. My guess is with the rapidly increasing interest and new availability of guns in 327, ammo has not yet caught up. You may want to check some of the larger local shops.

It looks like it's sold out almost everywhere.

One of my local shops has 5 boxes of the 100 gr AE load on the shelf, but I know that doesn't help much.

Standard loads are typically cheaper than .38 Special and .357 Mag.

It's just difficult to locate sometimes, since it's a "seasonal" cartridge for ATK (Federal, Speer, etc.). ...And Ruger just sold several thousand LCRs that seem to have, mostly, gone to new buyers that needed ammo.

It IS a great cartridge for reloaders, but there's still affordable factory ammo out there.

I really like the idea of the .327 but this is why I am hesitant to own one. At least .32 longs seem to be available.

Graf's is listing Speer 100 grain Gold Dot and Jamison 90 grain. $22.29 per 20 and $18.99 per 20 respectively.
Midway lists Buffalo Bore only. Cast 130's and jacketed 100 grainers at $26.49 per 20. Every other brand is on 'No backorder." They also show Starline brass at $120.99 per 500. $27.99 per 100. Suggest you buy as much as you can.

Every time I visit a Cabela's there is .327 Federal sitting on the shelf. And I see it at gun shows also.

I don't buy any factory ammo outside of rimfire, but being knee-deep in the .327 Federal culture always has me craning my neck to see the factory ammo availability, just for the sake of curiosity.

You can get brass direct from starline for $121.50 for 500. top quality brass and they show it in stock.
And buying direct from Starline always includes "free" shipping. (It's rolled into the price.)
Most other retailers barely undercut Starline's price, and then add shipping on top.

I still haven't tried the Starline .327 brass. I had some major issues with their .32 H&R cases (caused by overly-thick case walls), and just don't know that I want to take a chance on the .327 stuff....

I would think shooting 32 ACP would not represent practice for shooting 327 Federal Magnum. If I am going to practice just fundamentals, I take my 22 LR, SW617.
