Who has a Glock 29?

I saw a few guys posting on another board about problems with their Glock 29s having failures to extract. I'm just wondering if this is a snafu with just a few specimens or if it's a more prevalent problem. Haven't seen this reported with the G20 model which, if I'm not mistaken, is the basis for the G29. So it makes me wonder.....

You G29 owners care to comment? Any problems?

Thanks.

When mine was new, it tended to stovepipe on me. GRD (on this board) has one as well, and he turned me on to a better ejector for my G29. You could PM him and ask for the details on its make/model#. I love mine. :D :D

Ejector not extractor! Duh-oh!:o

I have two G29s, and not a problem with either. My oldest one has a serial number starting with DSS, and my latest one starts with ECH. Most of the reports of problems seem to have been with older ones with the (original) stubby ejector. Both of mine came with the (newer) longer and canted ejector.

I have a newer G29 and it has functioned flawlessly with factory ammo and my handloads. Very accurate. Great gun.

I got mine about six months ago. It has been flawless. I have shot several different loads and about 1,200 rounds with no failures. It's my only Glock. It 's quite a weapon.

I had a couple of stovepipes with the original ejector in my Glock 29. Upgraded to the newer one (8196-2) and haven't had any problems in the several thousand rounds I have put through it since.

:D :D

I use the standard (flat) floorplate. I tried the Pearce extension, but it pinched my linky when I fired. The flat one works the best for me.

I've only put about 100 rounds through my new G29. That's not enough to tell how it will eventually perform, but it's been flawless so far.
