Found my son a 27-2 last month, but now want to slick up the trigger for him.
Anyone have personal experience with a good smith that doesn't take 6 months or more?
Heard of Barlow, but also heard the work takes a while, maybe cause you keep writing about him.
I know quality is worth waiting for, so maybe that's the way to go. thanks.
It's hard to find a guy who's been around for long that can do quick work, if he's any good at all. He'll usually tend to build up enough demand to cause a longer turnaround time.
I don't like waiting any more than anybody else, but nowdays I just figure if a gun's gonna be sitting quite a bit anyway, it might as well be there as here, so I drop it off & forget about it till I hear back.
He did a great job on a 28 for me.
Good luck with your gun.
