Anyone know of anyone who can make a 20 mm rifled barrel blank. Pacnor has one but its not actually 20mm. Person or company? Or even a worn out Vulcan barrel
20mm is the same as 10 gauge (10 bore) so such a barrel is not that hard to find.
What type of gun are you going to be working on?
Muzzleloading or breach loading?
Is it to fire a bullet or a ball?
Ed Rayl can do that kind of work, as can Oregon Barrel I believe.
They provide deep hole drilling services for more industries than standard gun barrels. Probably have the tools for the job to make you a 20mm barrel blank. I would call them knowing the twist rate you want and how much you are willing to shell out for the project.
I think your best bet is to call up various major barrel manufacturers and figure out which ones are capable of doing the project within your budget.
Nenewt, 20MM is .787"
I gave up on my math skills and ability to convert, and just went to my shop and measured it.
So a 20mm is a slightly loose 10 gauge. The "standard" for a 10 bore is .780
There is a outfit in AZ called AZ Iron Works or something.
They make sniper rifles on steroids.
20mm or something. From what I know the FBI's elite HRT(hostage rescue team) made a stink about 5/6 years ago by contracting the firm for a few 20mm sniper rifles.
I think they do custom work too but you'd need to track them down.
