White grip material,,,

I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to.
But white paper phenolic is often called 'faux ivory' and is used for pistol grips and knife handles. I make pens and turned a high end one of this material. It looked like real ivory. I sold it in an art gallery as 'alternative ivory' for almost $300.00. It was beautiful, if I say so myself. ;)
Be aware, it is very-very hard and difficult to work.
The biggest seller of this stuff is Jantz knife supply.

Corian,,, that's the name.

A member PM'd me with the name of the material.

I think my Beretta 87 would look real fine with white Corian grips.

Here is the URL for a gentleman who does beautiful work in corian grips.
