Sure, speculation is often only that.

If you understood the market quite well, would you suggest mostly a specific type, such as WW2 German Mausers. Enfields, or even Garands?

It was 0530, and was in a real rush (on hotel computer) to harvest you guys' different angles.:o

The objective was to ask, how about over the next two/three years or so?

If you are speculating there's 4 rules to go by :

1) CONDITION
2) MATCHING
3) RARITY
4) CONDITION
 
The largest price increases, percentage wise, are going to come on the Moisin Nagants. They have already gone up some, and will go up more over time, as the supply dwindles. They will have the largest percentage of increase, because they are the cheapest things on the market, currently.

On the other hand, for investment if a $70 rifles goes to $125, have you made enough to be worthwhile? A $50 increase on a $100 rifle is a huge increase. A $50 increase on a $700 rifle isn't as big.

The original stock (which might vanish during Chap. 11) can quickly double from $1 to $2.

From $50 to $100 takes quite a while.
