Which sig 938 should I get?

I honestly had no intention of getting a 1911 style gun for carry (never trained with one) but last week I held a 938 and decided to get a fancy decked out one right there.

Which version of 938 should I get? What are the differences? I'd get custom grips for sure but what other modifications are good?

Advice appreciated :)

I own the 938 extreme. I find it to be the best 938 setup for carry IMHO. It has a blued frame and slide, tritium green night sights, and aggressive matching "VZ" like grips and backstrap. Most other configs have a stainless slide and/or small parts but the extreme is all blued safety ,slide lock, mag catch, slide and frame. You will not be disappointed.

One thing I will say about the 938 is the extended mag would drop ever so often while firing. I attribute that to me being a lefty so my trigger finger is right over the mag catch, the fact that your pinky rests on the mag so most of my grip strength is pushed to the mag when firing and the very short travel the mag catch has to be pressed to drop the magazine. I sent it to Sig with my complaints and they replaced the mag catch. I haven't had a problem since after 100+ rounds.

the sas is ideal, melted, making it a more convenient pocket pistol, with tritiums. I was genuinely surprised that the melt and tritiums were basically free.
