im looking at a remingot 870 express combo or a mossberg combo. some one owes me money 400 bucks that all i have to spend (still a student looking for a job:o ). i want a good deer hunter and something i just put the other barrel on for fun stuff you know how cheap buckshot can be, but none of the remmy combos i come across are under 400. i love the price on the mossy. i guss the question im asking is would the mossy be worth it?
 
If I am not mistaken, you can pick up an 870 with 28" barrel at Walmart for $250 and a 20" slug barrel can be had for around $120 from Bass Pro.
 
Mossberg also makes fully rifled barrels for the 870. I have seen them for around $150.00 if memory serves correctly.
 
The mossberg is 99% as good as the 870 at a much much lower price. It will go bang every time and the ONLY thing that I feel that the 870 has over the mossberg is that it feels a tad bit tighter.

I own mossbergs because what the 870 has over them isn't worth the extra cash for me. They're great guns.
