Definitely have to trade/sell other guns to fund it. Its definitely above my pay grade. I'm trying to sell my grey G17 gen 4 and a benelli 20 gauge to help pay for it.

HK45c. I have a Sig 1911 that doesn't get much work other than a seldom trip to the range that I am going to get rid of and replace with the HK45c. That way it'll get some carry use(barring reliability issues) along with range work.




Now that I read that out loud......it sounds like I'm just making up a reason to get a new gun.

Not sure what I'll get next. But I will never own another S&W. After 3 months with the 40 Shield I don't think S&W belongs in the gun business.

I have a GLOCK 26 and a Kimber Pro Carry II and I love both of these. I've also owned Sig and thought they built a decent gun.

What's next? I don't know.

Wanted one the first time I first saw it. Now by many reports, including a close personal friend tyat just bought one, the problems have been solved.
No particular practical reason. I am well supplied with CCW equipment. Just liked the unique design, and the feel of the gun.
The gen 2 Remington has bumped a Tristar P120 off the top of my short list.

Today, im thinking i need an HK USP V1 9mm.

About a year ago i decided:
1) 9mm was a respectable caliber....i still struggle with that!
2) i try to lumit my semi's to SA's with a thumb safety
3) people who get over the price, rave about HK's! So, they might be ok.

As you can see, for a die hard 1911 45, these are big strides!

I really want an IWI Jericho full size in .45. I love the bhp/CZ75 type pistols, and i fell in love with these when I held one at the NRA convention a few years ago. I've seen the 9 and 40s in shops but never the 45. Also, if anybody has seen cowboy bebop that was spike's pistol, haha.

What: a 1911 in 9mm. Why: because I like 1911s and I like 9mm, so why not try the two together.

Witness compact polymer 10mm. Why? Because the easiest carry other than my P32 in the pocket is my SAR B6PC and the Witness will just about duplicate the IWB soft leather cheapo holster comfort factor in a more reassuring (for me) 10mm instead of 9mm.
