Which Ruger .45?

If you were hunting deer with a .45, had you rather use a Blackhawk or a Redhawk? What barrel length? Thanks...

Asked and answered this question with my 5.5" stainless Redhawk, Pachmayr Decelerators, Millett orange-ramp front sight.

I should add I own 5.5" ss Redhawks in 41, 44, and 45, and a 7.5" ss .357. Prefer the 5.5"'ers.

I love Redhawks.
