Which Rock River Arms Pistol ?

I'm looking at ordering a Pistol from Rock River Arms. I've got it narrowed down to the Elite Commando 5" & the Basic Limited Match in 45ACP. Tuned to 1 1/2" at 50 yds.

The parameters that I've set for this pistol are that I be able to use it as a carry piece if I wish, be able to use it as a home defense weapon & that I be able to use it as a pistol in IDPA competition. I don't know if I'm asking too much for one pistol, but from what I've seen in regards to feedback on the RRA pistols they should be able to do all I ask & more.

I'm wondering if there's anything I should consider in regards to options for these pistols to meet my requirements.

I would appreciate feedback from everyone on my choices & would also appreciate any suggestions on other pistols that might meet my needs.

I was under the impression that the Commando was a Commander length gun? Either way it would be my choice. It has everything done to it that I would want. I would add a Sprinco recoil reducer or Harrts reducer is all.

A 5" Elite Commando can be ordered as an option. I prefer and have a deposit down for the commander length Elite Commando. The clock is ticking on the 8+ month wait. :eek:
