Which Rifle

Hello all ,Looking for a fast answer as rifle will sell fast.

All i do is punch paper,but want to get out to 800 to 1000 yards or more

Choices are

1-6.5 x 284 norma

2- 6.5 Creedmore

3- 260

4- 308

Yep, for long-range paper, either the Norma or the Creedmore. Whatever gives the best muzzle velocity

i would say they'll all do the job but the norma would most likely be the best out of the 4

Question---Would a 308 also be good?.

A .308 will be just fine, and will certainly be more versatile than the other choices, but you will have to work harder for better accuracy at the long end of your anticipated target ranges. If all you're doing is punching paper at long range, the .308 would be the least desirable of the cartridges you mentioned.

yes and the 308 will be cheaper if you dont reload and a little bit cheaper if you do
