Which military pistol match is shot in the prone on the first leg? I believe the distance was 50 meters.... Patton match? Anyone know?

The Military Combat Pistol Match was fired from the Prone, standing, kneeling and squat position on the International silhouette target.

That Patton Team Match (Pistol Version of the ITT or Rattle Battle), was fired from the Standing Position only. It was started with a 2 mile run in full combat gear.

Now that was when I use to shoot it. It changed a bit since the early '90s but they still have a Compat Pistol Course.

The National Guard has a Reduced course for indoor postal events held in the 50 Ft indoor ranges. It's pretty much the same as the full course except for being shot at 50 Feet on Reduced targets.

Here is the CNGB (reduced) course of fire:

Then it was the Military Combat Pistol Match.... was the prone distance 50 meters? Ahh... I see the link now. I don't recall it all shot from 50 feet.
