Which P32 spring is correct?

Just received my new P32 hardchromed slide back from Kel Tec and they sent me a new recoil spring that is approximately 4 coils longer than my original. Serial Number is 12XXX. I need help knowing which one is the proper one to use. Did they have problems with the shorter ones and now use the long ones? The new one is very hard to insert into the gun.

Will wait until I hear from you before I fire it.
