Which Optics for AR - HELP!

I currently have 3 ARs - 1 original Bushmaster Varminter (1 in9 twist) w/Burris variable w/rangefinder - will shoot under 1 MOA w/55 gr bullets. 1 Colt 6940 w/Aimpoint red dot. My LaRue 16" OBR should finally arrive in a Mo or 2.
My eyes need magnification but don't plan to use the OBR much farther than 100 - 150 yds (I'm old - what's a meter?). I really think I don't want to use a red dot w/3x doubler, etc. Is there a GOOD scope maybe 2 - 8 x 40 etc. that has long eye relief and minimal parallax problem - needs to be fast focus and would prefer mil dot? Or am I looking the wrong way for this expensive supposed tack driver?
Thanks in advance for any personal experience & advice.

Are we talking target shooting, hunting, or what? Because I'm not seeing the utility in a mil-dot reticule at these low ranges.

What's your price range?

Cheapish
I have one of these:
Nikon M-223 1-4x20

4-4.1 inches of variation in eye relief depending on magnification. Point Blank Reticule might not be your cup of tea, though (3 moa dot with crosshairs).

Less cheapish
Another option could be the Burris MTAC 1.5-6x42.

Expensive-ish
Trijicon VCOG, TARS, and AccuPoint
