...use in all kinds of environments, Glock 19 or Beretta 92FS? I have both and I am just curious which one will work better when full of dust, sand, water etc.etc.

Tough Environment

With its large open slide, most will agree that the Beretta is more tolerant of debris like dirt, sand, etc. A 92FS in their Inox finish would serve you well in a hostile environment.

In my experience, it'd be the Glock. Besides, full size Berettas are such pretty guns that I wouldn't want to expose them to all that; Glocks are natural "beaters".

Hmmmm,

I don't believe I've ever seen a question contrasting these two guns before... Are you sure this is what you really mean to ask?

Glock.
In extreme environments that can rust-out even stainless steel, (Dont laugh, I just saw this in April '01), I'd trust the Glock & it's polymer frame.

Glocks are more popular in in SE Asia than Berettas -even though Berettas are still standardised military issue in several countries there.

The polymer frame on Glocks also stand up to extreme cold temperatures -just in case you get sent to Siberia.

Stop oiling your Beretta, throw some sand into the cut-away slide and see if it still works!
