Okay, given these three scopes to mount on a Savage 110FP in 308 Winchester, which would you mount.

The conditions:
Consider the overall usability of the scope for 1-500 yard coyote, varmint hunting and target shooting.
Overall value for how the scope performs.
Overall manufacturer quality and performance levels.
Absolute best scope of the three for the money invested.

The three scopes listed:
Super Sniper 10x44
Bushnell Elite 3200 10x40
BSA 6-24x44 Side Wheel Focus

All scopes are mil-dot reticle and have external adjustment for windage and elevation.

Not the BSA... I have a Bushnell 3200 that I wouldn't all out endorse either, but it win's hands down over anything BSA that I've had anyway. Out of the 4-5 BSA's I've had, only 1 was worth a crap, it is a Cat's Eye that is on my bolt action .22. I had two others of the Platinum series, and they were "Crapinum" for $100+ scopes. The SS's have an excellent reputation from all I've read, but I have no experience with them.
 
Ditto. Either of the first two - the SS is better but costs more. Just a matter of the budget. I'd get more power however if trying to shoot at long range - I know many others don't agree, but I prefer 18-20 power for 200 yards, let alone 500!

Get *anything* but BSA. Get a Barska before you get a BSA, heavenssake. PM me if you want more (nearly worthless) opinions.
 
I have a 10x Super Sniper. I am happy with it. For the money I think you would hard pressed to do better.
I also own 2 Bushnell Elite 3200's. They are both mounted on .22 rifles and are nice scopes.
I DO NOT own a BSA scope but I have not heard good things about them.
For a .308, get the SS, you will not regret your purchase.
 
If you want a scope that will hold up well look at the bushnell or the SS. both are good values for the money.

If you want to get serious about long range shooting ( you mention 500 yards varminting ) then save your money for a better scope, a much better scope.
 
I have never used a Super Sniper scope, and I won't recommend something I have not used. I opted for the Elite 3200 because I have used one, and it was OK (not great, not bad). And anything is better than a BSA scope. Even no scope.
