Which of these guns will you choose if price was not an issue? can you tell me the price?
What weaponlights do you reccomend for these guns?
Glock 17 9mm
Beretta 92FS 9mm
Sig Sauer P226 9mm
Heckler & Koch USP 9mm

What do you think about the Walther P99? Is there a weaponlight for sale for it? How about Tritium Sights?

1) SIG 226

2)Glock 17

3)HK USP 9mmC

4)Beretta 92

All are very good picks.

I have a low opinion of weapon lights.

I think highly of the Walther P99!! :)
Mine is very accurate. Yes, you can get tritium night sights for it. There is an equipment rail for a light. Of the above giuns you mentioned, I would (and did) get the P99. :):)

Either one of the guns you mention is top-shelf hardware, and you could bore yourself to death trying to make on ebreak or malfunction while shooting it with factory ammo. That makes your choice purely one of "which one feels best" personal preference.

For me, the SIG and the Walther have the best ergonomics, but I shoot SIGs better than most any other 9mm autochucker, so I'd have to go with the SIG P226. The HK and Beretta are certainly equally capable pistols, though. No law against having one of each...the P226, Beretta 92FS and Glock 19 in my safe seem to be getting along just fine.

I have gotten used to a safety on my pistols. So, the Glock, Walther & Sig rank lower on my list. I learned to shoot using the Beretta and that one still is one of my sentimental favorites ;) Plus, I have hi-caps for my 92's. But if price were not an issue, I would get the USPc. Lightweight, accurate, durable, easy to maintain and easy to shoot well.

i have the walther p99..
it is THE BEST in ergonomics out there .. NOTHING COMPARES .. no problems .. would definately buy one again .. i like taking mine out of the safe JUST TO LOOK AT IT sometimes .. its very streamlined .. not much to catch clothing on ..smooth edges .. nothing to cut yourself on .. easy to pull the slide back .. easy to take apart and clean ..
also the sig 226 is REAL NICE .. but expensive .. actaully .. i think the SIG 226 is built better than the walther.. due to 1 major difference .. on the sigs, the upper portion of the frame has a FULL LENGTH guide rail for the slide to slide along during action .. on the walther, ( as well as on glocks and many many other semi autos) there are only 4 small 3/4 inch long tabs that the upper frame ...
is this a real big deal ?.. depends on how finicky you are .. personally i would have had walther build a full length slide rail .. not 4 little tabs ..
the H&K is nice, but overpriced and H&K's customer service is INFAMOUSLY HORRIBLE...
the rest i dont know .. never had one or fired one ...

Ditto notbubba's comment's and order
of preference. Of course, I rank Sig's
above all else; but that's just me.:D

The two-tone Sig P226 with SigLite night
sight's and one high capacity magazine
can be found for $629.95 + 8% sales tax
in my area.

My order of preference:

  1. SIG Sauer P226
  2. Glock 19 (I know you listed the 17, but I have the 19)
  3. Walther P99
  4. HK USP9F
  5. Beretta 92
    [/list=1]

    Get what you want.:)

Depends on what you're using it for.I personally would prefer a .45cal version of the available guns but I assume 9mm is more popular and easier to buy in the Phillipines. So on that note, my vote goes to the USP.

ditto with gunhead ... NO BERETTA...
i was NEVER much for beretta pistols .. now shotguns .. thats another story .. !!!

Hello, kabayan!:)

Any of the 5 u mentionedwould be great choices. But being in the same pond as you, here's my $0.02 :

the other 4 brands: Glock, Beretta, Sig(!!!), Walther(!!), and the very recommended CZ line (!) are scandalously priced. The only quality gun in our side of the 'woods' that holds its price relative to the good ol' US of A is the HK. I got my USP9f last August at the gunshow and only paid around $550, $600 if we count permits.

No cool accessories yet for me, only a Hogue hand-all for better grip. I agree that weaponlights/lasers may not be advisable, since the guns you mentioned are already big guns, unless you prefer the compact versions, which BTW are more expensive.

HK service has been very satisfactory to me since i made the purchase. But i am not an authority regarding the other brands.

Happy hunting,

PS: Avoid the Taurus polymer lines; but their revolvers and the steelframed semis are worth a look...

Those are the guns that I'm deciding among for a full size 9mm as well. I've shot the Glock 17, the Beretta 92FS, and the USP. Of those 3, I think I like the Beretta the best. I like the solid feel of metal.

I prefer Glocks myself, but I wouldn't hesitate to own any of those five. I guess if I ranked them, it would be:

1.) Glock 17 (I also prefer the G19, but you didn't list it.)
2.) HK USP
3.) Sig P226
4.) Walther P99
5.) Beretta 92FS

And I noted that you added the price of the CZ75B. You might want to add it to your "to get" list as well.

None.If I had a choice,that is.
CZ 75 is streets ahead of all of them.Better point, better feel and foolproof. If you can't get one at least dodge the Beretta,it's a lump of a gun.
