Well, we have had very good results with Sig-Lites, by Sig Arms, and Trijicon. Both are very, very good. I would stay away from PT Nightsights. Just my opinion.
Hi I just got some Mepro Lites night sights for my Glock 19. They are a little brighter than the Trijicon sites. Also they are easier to pick up during the day. I paid $65 for mine from Glockmeister.com
I don't know if they have any for Sigs though. Hope this helps.

I'd suggest the trijicon brand. The only other nite sites I've seen on a 226 were the sig factory nite sites, and IMO they were not as .. what's the word.. luminescent as the trijicons. I had a ten year old 226 with trijicons on and it was glowing quite well when i sold it a few months back.Go with the trijis
Might also consider Ashley Pro Express sights. Designed for rapid alignment in low light. I am having a set of the small dot tritium's installed on my carry gun now. http://www.ashleyoutdoors.com
