Which is the best .22 Semi-Auto Pocket Gun?

Walthers, Bersa Thunder 22, Walther clones but the Bobcats are known as jammomatics.

I've put nearly 2,000 rounds through my Taurus TP-22, mostly Winchester.

To date, with the Winchester ammo, there has not been a SINGLE failure to fire, feed, or eject.

The ONLY problems I had were failures to fire on the first strike with some CCI cheap stuff.

Beware the man with the S&W .357 Mag.
Chances are he knows how to use it.

The best has got to be the German TPH. The alloy frame is very light. The problem is the price, but you did ask for the 'best'.

Funny, my model 21 doesn't jam unless I shoot about 250-300 consecutive rounds. Then the accumulated carbon and powder fouling causes smokestack jams every few shots until it just won't eject at all. Which would happen to any pistol which relies on blowback action rather than an extractor to remove the shell casing.

Sometimes with .22 you get shells which won't go off despite good indentation of the primer. The Model 21 allows second strikes and rapid clearing is just a matter of popping up the barrel and flipping the cartrage out then recocking with a new one.

Which of the pistols mentioned are blowback design & which have extractors? Also, which is more accurate?
Thanks,
Mike

Since you already have a .25 and a .32, why go down the scale for a .22? I'd much rather have my Keltec P32 than any .22 pocket pistol if I ever actually have to use it. Is there some reason you specifically need a .22?

The TPH is a blowback and has an extractor. It is very accurate because the barrel is mounted to the frame so it has consistant alignment.

Walther TPH in .22 . I have made some unreal shots with the gun that surprised me. I prefer the cci stingers for ammo.

Add my vote for the Beretta Mod. 21.
I think I gave $180 for mine.
I also think they are better guns than people give them credit for.
Mine is accurate and reliable, but then I had to experiment a little to find the ammo it liked best, which is Thunderbolt solids, happily the kind they sell at Wal-Mart for 10 bucks a brick.
